Can I complete all of my CPD training online?
NSW Class 1 & 2 agents can fulfil their entire CPD requirement (10 hours) through the combination of these flexible online programs. If you're not completing your CPD through face-to-face or interactive sessions, this type of self-paced option is ideal. See full eligibility details below.
How many hours of CPD training do I need to complete?
You need to complete 10 hours of training in total - 5 hours of compulsory topics and 5 hours of elective training (which can be fulfilled by Elite Agent's 30PPP Program).
How does the CPD bundle work?
Your mandatory CPD modules are delivered by Real+ (realplus.com.au), an approved NSW Fair Trading training provider. Opt in to the CPD package and you'll get access to both platforms - Elite Agent Academy for 30PPP training and Real+ for your mandatory modules.
How does 30PPP contribute to my CPD?
Real+ have approved the course (30PPP) and the instructor (Samantha McLean) as a suitable elective for CPD purposes. However to claim the full 5 hours or elective you must complete at least 80 percent of the program for it to be recognised. Documentation will be provided by Elite Agent to Real+ for verification.
What CPD topics to Sales Representatives need to complete?
Sales Representatives must complete: 5 hours of compulsory training covering 3 topics (Work Health & Safety, Supervision Guidelines 2024, and Strata Laws)
PLUS An additional Underquoting course through TAFE (separate $75 fee applies)
What CPD topics do Property Managers need to complete?
Property Managers must complete 5 hours of compulsory training covering 4 topics: Compliance with Habitability Standards Introduction to Work Health & Safety New Supervision Guidelines 2024 Understanding Strata Laws.
Is that everything I need for the CPD year?
It depends on your personal circumstances and license type held.
Sales representatives still need to complete the Underquoting course for Sales Representatives (provided by TAFE) to complete the full requirement.
Principals must also prepare and maintain training plans for all agents under their supervision (Real+ will provide you with a template for this).
Agents who are Strata Agents, Stock and Station Agents & Business Brokers have adjusted learning requirements reflective of their licence category – reach out to Real+ on 02 8355 4999 for more info.
Can I carry over CPD from past years?
No, new CPD arrangements do not provide for carry over from one year to the next, except Assistant Agents, as the must complete ongoing units related to their Certificate IV qualifications.
I'm an Assistant Agent - what are my requirements?
Assistant Agents need to complete 3 units of their Certificate IV Qualification through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). If you're not currently enrolled with an RTO, Real+ can assist with completing these units.
